01 · Ownership
Each right remains with its owner.
Age of Seas branding, original text, code, interface, illustrations, audio, game rules as expressed, characters and other original assets belong to the disclosed operator or its licensors. Third-party names, marks, collection images, documents and linked material belong to their respective rightsholders.
Unless a page states an open licence, no licence is granted beyond normal access, browser caching and rights that law independently provides.
- +Copyright protects expression, not historical facts themselves
- +Trademark use must not imply endorsement
- +Open-licence terms on a specific asset prevail
- +Game purchase grants access, not asset ownership
02 · Permitted use
Link and quote responsibly.
You may link to public pages and make reasonable quotations for criticism, research, teaching or reporting with appropriate attribution, to the extent allowed by law. You may use the site through its normal interface for personal, non-commercial purposes.
You may not copy a substantial part, mirror the site, strip attribution or rights notices, sell assets, train or populate a competing database from bulk extraction, or use marks in a confusing domain, product or account name without permission, except where law expressly permits the activity.
- +Attribute page title and URL
- +Check the original source's licence separately
- +Ask before commercial republication
- +Accessibility and statutory text/data exceptions remain unaffected
03 · Game builds and feedback
Do not redistribute or defeat the game service.
A game entitlement permits use of the authorised build and associated updates under the User Service Agreement. It does not permit source extraction, asset ripping, unauthorised servers, sale of virtual access, removal of protection or redistribution.
If you voluntarily send feedback without a separate confidentiality agreement, you grant the operator a worldwide, non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free right to use and adapt that feedback without identifying you. You retain ownership of any independently protectable material in it.
- +Security research should use private reporting
- +Mods require a separate published permission
- +No implied licence to unreleased material
- +Feedback is not treated as confidential
04 · Infringement notice
Identify the work, location and authority to act.
Send [IP NOTICE] to hello@ageofseas.com with your name and contact, the protected work, the exact Age of Seas URL or material, the rights basis, the requested action, a good-faith statement and evidence that you are the rightsholder or authorised agent. Do not send unnecessary identity information.
We will acknowledge, preserve relevant evidence, assess the claim, remove or restrict material where appropriate, and notify the affected contributor when lawful. A counter-notice should identify the material, explain the lawful basis and include contact and authority statements.
- +Specific URL and material
- +Proof or explanation of ownership
- +Good-faith and accuracy statement
- +Signature or equivalent confirmation
05 · Fair process
Knowingly false notices can cause harm.
Do not use the process to suppress criticism, facts, public-domain material or lawful quotation. Parties remain responsible for knowingly false claims or counterclaims under applicable law.
The operator may request clarification but will not demand unrelated sensitive information. Nothing here prevents a rightsholder from using a court, regulator or another lawful remedy.
- +No automatic ownership decision from a bare allegation
- +Proportionate interim action
- +Reasoned response where possible
- +Records retained only as legally necessary
